WHAT'S NEW?
Who We Are: The Asia Pacific Regional Migration Forum is a network of academics, NGOs, human rights lawyers, relevant government officials, and others with interests in refugee and migrant rights. What we do: The Forum holds conferences, seminars, workshops and discussions on refugee and migrant issues, and develops training material for short courses on these topics. The Forum facilitates interaction between all members of the network, and is of particular use to researchers seeking to collaborate with NGO officials, and vice-versa. The Forum also manages a Refugee Advocates Research Support Network, helping advocates representing refugees in Australian courts to access research support networks at the ANU. Where we are: The Forum is based at the Australian National University in Canberra, but operates at other locations including at the University of New England at Armidale in Australia, and in other locations in the Asia Pacific region. To become involved in the Forum, or to learn more, please contact us. |
